24. Francis Wilkerson ⁽⁷⁷⁾ was born in 1760 in Granville CO NC. He died in 1833 in Falls of Rough, Grayson Co., Ky. He was buried in Burton Farm, Grayson Co., Ky. FRANCIS WILKERSON ENLISTED FOR ONE YEAR AND TWO MONTHS IN THE CONTINENTAL
ARMY. FOUGHT IN THE BATTLE OF BRIAR CREEK MARCH 3RD 1779. ENLISTED AT
GRANVILLE N.C. HIS PENSION WAS GRANTED APRIL 9TH 1833 AT AGE 73. HE LIVED
IN BRECKINRIDGE COUNTY, KY. AT THAT TIME. HE IS BURIED AT GEORGE BURTON
PLACE, FALLS OF ROUGH, KY. [HAS TOMBSTONE WITH DATES]

He was married to Ursala Satterwhite (daughter of John Mitchell Satterwhite and Amy Mitchell) on 16 Apr 1783 in Granville CO NC. Ursala Satterwhite⁽⁷⁷⁾ was born in 1763 in Granville CO NC. She died in 1813 in Falls of Rough, Grayson Co., Ky. She was buried in Burton Farm, Grayson Co., Ky. Francis Wilkerson and Ursala Satterwhite had the following children:
