He was married to Anne Burton on 8 Aug 1693 in , Henrico, VA, St John's Church. Anne Burton was born in 1670 in , Henrico, VA. She died in 1725 in , , VA. Bartholomew Stovall 1 and Anne Burton had the following children:

George's will explicitly mentions kids by his first wife having already received their portions. He explictly says all children in 1786 will are by his 2nd wife:
