(10) John Willie was a noted musician and played the guitar, double bass and most notably the fiddle. Many days and nights were passed with John and friends playing "old time" country music in the front yard when friends and relatives arrived from the city. He was in the Coast Artillery during WWII and was stationed at Seattle Washington. John died of Leukemia in the summer of 1964 after moving to Louisville the previous year from the old Yates farm in Rinyville, Ky. He was married to Eva Mae Brown (daughter of Joseph Robert
(Bob) Brown and Agnes Josephine (Josie) Peak) on 5 Jun 1943
