10. Charles Peak
(1) was born on 4 Jan 1793 in Nelson Co., Ky.
He died on 17 Jan 1850. He was buried in ST. MARTINS CEMETARY, FLAHERTY, KY..

Charles and Lucy settled first in Nelson County, where they were listed in
the 1830 census. They may have been living on Kenelm Peak's farm at the
time, as Charles was named as a defendant in the 1825 court case brought
by the other heirs against Charles and Walter Boone, seeking a final
distribution of their father's estate. Between 1830 and 1840 Charles Peak
moved his family to Meade county.
The children of Charles and Lucy Peak who were alive at the time are
listed by name in a Meade County deed conveying title to a 283 acre tract
of land from the heirs of Richard Percefull to the heirs Charles Peak,
dated Oct. 30, 1860 (see Appendix). The tract bordered on the farm of
Philip Peak.
Records for this entry is from Nelson Co. Mariages; Nelson Co. Census records
1830; Mead Co. census records 1850. He was married to Lucy Nevitt (daughter
of Richard Nevitt and ?) on 21 Jun 1815
in Nelson Co., Ky. Lucy Nevitt
(1) was born on 13 Mar 1800 in Nelson Co., Ky. She died on 21 Jun
1860. She was buried in ST. MARTINS CENETARY, FLAHERTY, KY.. Charles Peak and
Lucy Nevitt had the following children:
