Descendants of Lord Robert Hale IThe Hale Family Line comes from a long line of English lords and
nobles. One, Rev. Matthew Blagden Hale, was Bishop of Perth, W. Australia
1856-1875 and Bishop of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia 1875-1885. Another Hale was Sir Matthew Hale of
Kent, Lord Chief Justice of England 1671-1676. A very prominent position
indeed! These two lines are not included here but I thought it very important
for the Hales to know how important their heritage was and is. Instead I only
include the Hale family lines that are ancestors of my wife’s grandmother
Abigail Hale.
