What a wonderful man Kenny was. He was a simple man and very well liked in life. He was known all over by people that knew him as a very trustworthy person. He liked to walk in the mornings and was known to walk several miles a day. A tribute to his longevity.

Kenny was a very well known storyteller and jokester. People would listen to him for hours while he told about some trip he made or his adventures in the army at Galveston Texas. While in was in the army he served in the Coast Artillery near Port Aransas Texas. When Kenny returned to Grayson County, Kentucky after the war, he brought along a friend of an aquatic nature. It seams while Kenny was in Texas he befriended a young 3 ft. alligator. Kenny couldn't depart with it so he brought it home. Stories of his mother fainting are probably not exaggerated. He kept it for one summer and it didn't make it through the following winter. There are stories of it chasing dogs and cats around the barnyard. It was the kind of thing you expect Kenny to do. His poor mother

The most notable thing about Kenny is the love he had for his daughter Debbie and her children Linda Michelle and Kayla Marie. Kenny and Debbie went through a lot together especially after Ellen died. Kenny really leaned on Debbie for support. Debbie was only too willing to help her dad with anything he needed. They both never said it much to each other but really didn't have to. Their love was that very special love only a father and daughter can have. It was also very apparent how attached he was especially to the grandchildren. Kenny was always taking them to the park or the movies. Linda and Kayla both had a very special relationship with him. You can still see the pride in Kenny's face in pictures of him and Linda or him and Kayla together. Kenny died as he lived; the way he wanted to.
